Art Car Weekend: For wheel enthusiasts, a weekend of festivities is marked in May to encourage the art and decorations of car, bicycle, motor bikes, lawn mowers and almost anything that works on set of wheels.
 
Texas Truck & SUV Show: With increase in trucking and carry vehicles usage, from hunters to driver’s fully geared show is schedules every year in May to exhibit art accessories related to trucks and SUVs.

U.S. Open Sporting Clays Championship: If you are in Texas , enjoy the Texan air, Rock on with the Rile and pistol, trap and skeet competitions.

June-tenth: Special performances are arranged on June 10th to commemorate President Abraham Lincoln. From blues to jazz, gospel to proclamations and variety of sounds you can hear on June the tenth in Houston.

Freedom Festival: Fourth of July celebrations are celebrated every year with the same fervor. The light works takes place in Sam Houston Park and Bayou Park.

Hot Sauce Festival: In order to raise funds for the Stehlin Foundation for Cancer Research, Hot Sauce Festival is celebrated in September. Sauce, salsa, chipotle, jams, chips, dips, spices, marinades and more as chili heads are the festival highs.

Texas Renaissance Festival: Starting in October, continuing for seven weekends in Plantersville, the Texas Renaissance Festival recreates an English 16th century village.

Ghost Walks: Throughout the month of October, it’s the Ghost Walks event that’s much looked upon. To celebrate the spirit of Halloween to its fullest, a relaxing and fun two-mile walk is carried out. The urban legend of deceased Houstonians and spooky tales f their murder re-awakes this night.

November

Day of the Dead Festival: It’s a traditional event of Houston commonly known to be Dia de los Muertos. Multicultural organizations in Houston celebrate the event to honor the lives of families and friends who died.

Dickens on the Strand: It’s a potluck supper event that started off 20 years back. It includes parades, cuisines, vendors and lot more.  

Christmas Boat Parade on Clear Lake: Christmas is every year celebrated in Houston with a unique chivalry. Along the Clear Lake channel to Galveston Bay hundreds of candles and trees are decorated and lighted.
